i’ve gotten behind on posting here
at certain points all i can think about is what is right in front of me— the task to be done— the next step— it’s a certain kind of tunnel vision that lets me survive this final incredible crush to get across the finish line
these pull outs i’ve been working on for the last few days have been a certain kind of marker for this project
way back in 2018 when this whole thing was still a “concept”, a “dream” and an “intention” i saw a house with an entryway i really wanted— with a recessed doorway so i could have cabinets/closets on either side to create a kind of “mud room” where i could remove outerwear and shoes before coming all the way inside
this idea has proved incredibly challenging to manifest
it got super complicated when the steel framing you know who had fabricated left a miniscule amount of space for actualizing this concept
and of course i also needed my “porch” or doorstep so i could utilize this set up
fast forward to 2021 and i am on the cusp of my pull outs being ready!

in the beginning— and i just noticed it even has a green body and blue door like my actual vardo!!!— how crazy is that???
